Kick-off Wine Tasting for Dining Out for Life
Friday, March 16th, 2012You’re invited to a kick-off wine tasting reception!
Please join us at Millbrook Vineyards and Winery on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm for a complimentary wine tasting reception to start the countdown to ARCS’ Dining Out for Life fundraiser.
Millbrook Winery will be pouring four of their wines for you to try in their tasting loft overlooking the vineyards. And because every party needs some food, we’ve challenged Chef Derek Smith to create delicious, gourmet hors d’oeuvre using only ingredients normally found in ARCS’ emergency food closets. Can he whip up scrumptious, high-end appetizers from canned goods, pasta and other nonperishables? (Don’t worry, we won’t take food from the food closet meant to feed our hungry clients.) Watch for video of Chef Derek at work, and you’ve got to be there to taste the results!
We’ll also have samples of Dutchess County-made Crown Maple syrup, as well as door prizes for a few lucky guests. Mid-Hudson Subaru will be on hand with the latest top-selling model too.
Please RSVP by April 13, 2012 by emailing jcalabrese@arcs.org or calling (914) 785-8283.
