Dr. Bernstein will be discussing the use of Truvada for pre-exposure prophylaxis among HIV-negative people at high risk for new HIV infections. This is a presentation of Gilead Community Medical Affairs. Lunch will be provided.

Big Gay Hudson Valley PROS Mixer

Big Gay Hudson Valley.com’s PROS Mixers are about networking the region’s LGBTQ community and our allies to create new connections; They happen the second Tuesday of each month at a variety of locations.

For our August event, BGHV is headed to Shadows on the Hudson. Doors open at 5:30pm.

Milti and his team will be serving up some snacks at the bar, and we’ll have use of the patio overlooking the Hudson River as the bartenders serve up a delicious array of beverages.

Hairdressers’ Disco Ball: What’s That All About?

Hopefully you’ve seen our recent posts about our upcoming Hairdressers’ Disco Ball and Fantasy Hair Show on Sunday, August 18th at the Villa Borghese. Even so, you might be wondering, “What the heck is a fantasy hair show?” Well, it’s like an avant garde runway show, but the focus is on the hair instead of the clothes. Our 20 participating salons are creating over-the-top hair designs that will blow your mind, so this is an event you don’t want to miss!
