Sign up as a team member, raise funds easily online and walk with us in Central Park with thousands of others who care about HIV/AIDS.
If you haven’t walked for AIDS Walk New York before and you sign up as a member of HVCS’ team, the overwhelming majority of your fundraised donations will go to support our programs and services in the Hudson Valley. (If you’ve walked for AWNY in the previous three years, your funds will continue to support New York City-based programs.)

Friday, February 20th, 2015That’s right, drag fans–HVCS’ fourth annual Drag Brunch returns to Gunk Haus in Highland for another round of music, mimosas and merriment on Sunday, March 29th. Your $25 ticket gets you your choice of delicious brunch entrees, unlimited coffee, tea and soft drinks, and fun entertainment by live performers–PLUS, you’ll be making a $15 donation to HVCS’ Hudson Valley AIDS Walk.

Tuesday, June 10th, 2014HVCS held its 22nd annual Hudson Valley AIDS Walk on Saturday, May 17, 2014 on the Walkway Over the Hudson. We raised over $42,000 (so far!) at this year’s Walk. Thanks to everyone who walked, volunteered, donated, and sponsored our biggest fundraising event of the year!

Red Ribbon Afterparty for the Hudson Valley AIDS Walk

You’re invited to party with everyone from the Hudson Valley AIDS Walk as we wrap up another successful event! Thirty 3 Nightclub & Ultra Lounge plays host for the Red Ribbon Afterparty from 10 am to 12 midnight in the Aqua Room, with music by the Hudson Valley’s own Prephab.
Once you’re done walking on the Walkway, rest up and come out again for a celebration with your fellow walkers! Wear your 2014 AIDS Walk t-shirt for perks and get to know more about HVCS’ education and prevention programs and services in a fun, relaxed way.

Monday, March 17th, 2014Hi folks – we’re glad (and sad) to say that the third Drag Brunch at Gunk Haus on April 6th is now fully booked, with 85 people signed up to attend! Thanks to everyone who made their reservations with Dirk at the Gunk Haus, and we’re thrilled that everyone is so excited to see the antics of Trixie Starr, JoJo Gerard, Lilly Sa’Vage and Miss Pattie Lee.
However, we don’t like having to turn anyone away. If you missed snagging a reservation, you can add yourself to our waiting list by calling (914) 785-8277 or emailing us. If we receive any cancellations, we’ll fill them from the waiting list on a first-come, first-serve basis depending on the size of your party. (For example, if a party of 2 cancels, we’ll notify the next party of 2 on our list. If a party of 4 cancels, and the next 2 people on the waiting list ask for a party of 2, we’ll offer them the spots.) We will contact you if we have space for you by Saturday, April 5th at 5 pm.

Hudson Valley AIDS Walk Pre-Registration Party

Hate standing on lines? Then pre-register for Saturday’s Hudson Valley AIDS Walk at Schatzi’s Pub & Bier Garden on Thursday, May 15th! From 5:30 to 7:30 pm, you can stop in and drop off your AIDS Walk envelope and pick up your incentives. (This is one way to make sure your AIDS Walk t-shirt fits to your liking–if you raise more than $25, that is.) Enjoy free appetizers and a cash bar under the Schatzi’s bier garden tent. Of course, the full menu will be available for your dining pleasure (hey, you’re going to be walking it off on Saturday, right? So have a pierogi or five)!
All ages are welcome.
This is also a great opportunity for Team Captains to meet with your team and get them fired up for a final day of fundraising!
No need to RSVP and no cover – just come on down to Schatzi’s on Main Street in Poughkeepsie.
