Join AIDS-Related Community Services for the re-launch of our annual Charity Ball on Saturday, November 5, 2011! Formerly a Valentine’s event, this re-branded and revitalized gala is now known as the “Harvest of Hope” Charity Ball. With a new time of year and a new venue–the elegant, fairytale-esque Whitby Castle in Rye, NY–this event promises to be even bigger and better than before!
Some traditions endure: the Ball features a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvre, silent auction, a gourmet three-course dinner, dancing (this time to the music of Superior Sounds), and the Hearts for ARCS Awards. This year’s recipients are the MAC AIDS Fund, the philanthropic arm of MAC Cosmetics, and Hudson Valley businessmen Patrick McKenna and James Svetz. By “royal decree” there will be new surprises and delights too!
