Dozens of local business owners, volunteers and supporters gathered at the Poughkeepsie Ice House on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 to kick off the countdown to HVCS’ Dining Out for Life 2014 event. The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for us, and invited local politicians such as NYS Senator Terry Gipson and Poughkeepsie Mayor John Tkazyik. Peter Maher from Mid-Hudson Subaru helped HVCS’ J. Dewey cut the ribbon. The party then moved inside for free appetizers and happy hour specials at the Ice House’s bar. Thank you to all those who came out to support HVCS–and we hope you’ll dine out to fight AIDS on Wednesday, April 23rd!
